Market Foundations
What price actually is, who is on the other side, and how to read a candle without mythology.
Reading Structure
Trend anatomy, levels that matter, and the breaks that change what a chart means.
Risk & Position Sizing
The arithmetic that decides whether a good strategy survives a bad month.
SMC Mastery
Order blocks, gaps, liquidity and structure — taught as measurable behaviour rather than as conspiracy.
Confluence & Setup Grading
Why single signals fail, what weighs more, and how to grade a chart the way the engine does.
The Funded Trader Track
Evaluation maths, drawdown discipline, and why most failures have nothing to do with entries.
Discipline & Psychology
The mechanisms behind revenge trading, tilt and overtrading — without the pop-psychology.
Five ways to be wrong, usefully
Checkpoints are not quizzes about the text. Each one asks you to do the thing the lesson taught, then shows the engine's answer beside yours with an explanation of the difference.
Mark the chart
Draw the level or zone. Scored on proximity to the engine's read, with partial credit.
Call the grade
Assign A–F to a real chart and pick the invalidation. Both halves are scored.
Spot the trap
Four charts, one contains the failure mode the lesson just described.
Size the trade
Account, risk and stop given. Compute the size — the calculator starts blank.
Sequence
Put the decision steps in the order that keeps you honest.
The delta script
Every reveal explains the gap by naming the rule, not the verdict. "Wrong" is not feedback.
Common questions
- Is ORIN Academy free?
- Entirely, and permanently. There is no paywall, no upsell tier and no locked lessons. An account only saves your checkpoint progress — gating a curriculum whose purpose is to build trust would defeat the point of building it.
- How is this different from other free trading courses?
- Every lesson ends in a performance on a chart rather than a quiz about the text. You mark the level, grade the setup or compute the size, and the engine shows you its answer alongside yours with an explanation of the gap. Feedback is the product.
- Do I need an account to do the checkpoints?
- No. Checkpoints work signed out and your progress is kept in this browser. An account carries it across devices and unlocks the track certificates.
- Which track should I start with?
- Market Foundations if you are new. If you can already read a chart, start with Reading Structure — it is the spine everything else depends on. Risk deliberately comes before strategy, because sizing keeps you alive long enough for a strategy to matter.
