Alerts are levels you choose: type a price, or tap a percentage offset from the last real price the app holds — the sheet dates that price rather than implying it is current. Alerts fire during scans and resolution passes. In-app delivery works; every other channel states its real status.
Arming an alert
Choose an absolute level or an offset from the last known price, and a direction to cross. Where no price is on record the alert still arms and the sheet says the distance is unknown, rather than computing an offset from a number it does not have.
A Watch decision arms an alert at the first target automatically.
The delivery channels
In-app delivery works. Email delivery depends on the deployment having a configured mail sender, and the interface reports that live rather than promising something the server cannot do. Other channels are marked as not built.
The rule underneath the table is that nothing promises a delivery a given deployment cannot make. An alert you believed was sent and was not is worse than no alert at all.
The notification centre
It lists fired alerts, which can be acknowledged; alerts currently armed; and outcomes that resolved recently.
The governing rule is that the product notifies only when you asked it to. There is no engagement channel, no re-engagement nudge, and no notification whose purpose is to bring you back.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours suppress rather than defer, and they capture an explicit timezone when set. An alert that fired during quiet hours is not delivered later out of context — a price alert delivered hours after the price moved is noise wearing the costume of information.
