Order blocks, fair value gaps, liquidity and structure — the vocabulary no legacy TA reference covers.
Order Block Retest
collectingAn order block is the last opposing candle range before a move strong enough to break structure. The theory says large resting orders were filled there; the measurable claim is that price tends to react when it returns. The retest of that zone on its first clean return is the trade.
Fair Value Gap
collectingA fair value gap is a three-candle pattern where the first candle's wick and the third candle's wick do not overlap, leaving a price range that traded in one direction only. It marks an imbalance — an area price moved through too fast for two-sided trade — and price frequently returns to complete it.
Liquidity Sweep Reversal
collectingA liquidity sweep is a move that pushes just beyond an obvious high or low — where stop orders cluster — and then immediately reverses back inside the range. The reversal setup trades the reclaim: the break triggered the stops, and price refusing to stay beyond the level is the evidence.
Break of Structure Continuation
collectingA break of structure is price closing beyond the most recent swing high in an uptrend, or swing low in a downtrend — confirming the existing trend is continuing. It is a continuation signal, not a reversal one, and it requires a close rather than a wick.
This category is being built out — 4 of the planned set are live. Pages ship when they can carry a detection spec, a live instance and a failure-modes section, not before.
Every entry on this shelf follows the same contract. The headline figure is computed from resolved analyses under the floors described in the methodology — never typed, never estimated — and a cell that has not earned its sample yet says “collecting” instead of guessing. Each page names the setup’s detection spec in plain language, shows a live instance when one exists, and lists the failure modes the pattern is known for, because a setup described only by its wins is an advertisement. The concepts behind the vocabulary are taught from first principles in the academy, and you can run any of these structures against a live chart for free to see how the engine grades it today.
