The command bar carries symbol search, the timeframe strip, Re-analyze, the lens switcher, the allowance chip, Upload, Quick Read, Ask and Add to watchlist. Below it sit three chart modes — an annotated evidence chart, a stack of higher timeframes, and a full third-party chart — plus the news panel.
The command bar
One row, and every control on it acts on the symbol currently loaded. Symbol search resolves partial names to the closest supported instrument. The timeframe strip offers 5m, 15m, 1H, 4H and 1D — the timeframe you pick is the one graded, and the legs above it are read as context automatically.
The allowance chip is always visible rather than appearing at the moment of refusal. A limit you can see coming is a limit; a limit you discover by hitting it is a trap.
The three chart modes
The annotated evidence chart is the default: the graded bars with the engine's own levels, zones and markers drawn on them. It freezes 140 bars onto the analysis, so the chart you are looking at is the chart that was graded, not a live redraw that has since moved.
The timeframes stack shows the graded timeframe with the legs above it, 60 bars each. Fewer bars per leg is deliberate — those panes are read for shape rather than for individual candles.
The third mode hands over to a full third-party chart for the drawing tools and indicator set a trader already knows. Nothing on it is graded; it is there so leaving the product is not the price of drawing a trendline.
The news panel
Scheduled event risk is shown beside the read rather than folded silently into it. Proximity to an earnings date applies its own cap to the grade, which is visible in the confluence breakdown rather than being an unexplained downgrade.
The decision bar
Taking it, Pass and Watch sit together at the foot of the read, and stick to the bottom of the screen on mobile.
Take is disabled whenever the live-derived signal is no-trade. This is not an error state: a read the engine has refused has no plan to take, and offering a Take button on it would be offering to log a trade the product just argued against.
The keyboard map
The desk is operable without the mouse. Cmd+U jumps to the symbol field, Q opens Quick Read, T takes, P passes, W watches, and Cmd+K opens the command palette. T is inert exactly when the Take button is, for the same reason.
Frequently asked
- Why is the Take button disabled on some reads?
- Because the live-derived signal is no-trade. A refused read has no plan to take, so there is nothing to log. No Trade is a complete answer rather than a failure, and the button reflects that instead of inviting you past it.
- Does the annotated chart keep updating after the read?
- No. The analysis freezes 140 bars at the moment it runs, so the chart shown is the evidence that produced the grade. A chart that kept moving would gradually stop matching the reasoning printed beside it.
