Prop-firm rule packs

Prop-firm packs rewrite your strategy rules and risk settings, and they show you exactly what will change before applying. They encode evaluation-programme shapes — tighter daily caps and smaller risk percentages than a discretionary trader would normally run. Applying one is part of Pro; the free desk grades on ORIN's default rulebook, Alpha 1.7.

Applying a pack changes your settings

A pack visibly rewrites your risk percentage and daily loss cap, with a confirmation naming what changes. That confirmation is a feature rather than friction: a settings change you did not authorise is a settings change you will not remember making, and this one governs how large every subsequent position is.

Who can apply one

Rule packs rewrite the rulebook your reads are graded on, and only a tier that grades on its own rulebook has one to rewrite. On the free desk every read grades on ORIN's default rules — Alpha 1.7 — and the pack cards in the Library say so; on Pro they apply.

What a pack cannot model

ORIN tracks a fixed daily loss cap. Some evaluation programmes use a trailing drawdown that moves with your equity high-water mark, and that is a materially different constraint.

Each pack carries a caveat saying so. The packs are starting points to verify against your own account's actual terms, not a contract and not a compliance guarantee — a trader who believed otherwise could pass every check here and still breach their programme.

Where the numbers come from

Pack settings follow the published shape of each firm's programme. They are unaffiliated encodings of public terms, and they say so rather than implying a partnership that does not exist.

Frequently asked

Does a prop-firm pack track a trailing drawdown?
No — ORIN tracks a fixed daily cap. Each pack states this in its caveat, because a trailing drawdown is a materially different constraint and a trader could satisfy every check here while still breaching their programme.
